SharePod + iPhone / iPod Touch

I'm working hard at getting iPhone support into SharePod. Last night I was able to connect to the iPhone, load its database and display all the songs in Sharepod :)

The next plan is to get tag editing working, then enable file add/removal. I'm hoping to have SharePod 3.8.4 out sometime next week!

New iPods...

I just picked up my new iPod Touch, bought with your donations! Thank you! And that means there will be SharePod support for the iPod Touch/iPhone coming soon. I haven't even had a chance to plug it in yet, but once I have some idea of whats involved in getting SharePod working with it I'll give some timeframes. :)

And I am still waiting for my 2nd-gen Shuffle to arrive - its a week late. I'm waiting for it to arrive and fix up SharePod Shuffle support before releasing 3.8.3 - apart from that its all ready.

Upcoming features

This week I am working on version 3.8.3.

New bits for this release:

• Read embedded artwork from files on import
• Re-enable Eject button
• 1-click 'Backup iPod' button
• Copy to PC screen easier to use.
• Better iPod Shuffle support. (I've just bought a Shuffle to do testing with!)
