3.8.4 Beta 3

If you have a jailbroken iPhone/iTouch, please try version 3.8.4 Beta3. It should work fine for you now :)

Issues with Jailbroken iPhone/iTouch

There are issues with running SharePod 3.8.4 betas with a Jailbroken iPhone and iTouch.

Issues include not being able to copy files from iPod to PC, and when copying tracks to the iPod, they show in the menu but are unplayable.

I'm pretty sure I have now got to the bottom of it, and there will be another version of SharePod out in a couple of days! :)

New version of SharePodLib available

For programmers wanting to access their iPhone / iPod Touch music, check out SharePodLib. It is a .NET library for interacting with an iPod, and as of version 3.8.4, it now supports iPhone and iPod Touch :)

New in beta2:

• Artwork support for Touch/Phone. Right now, coverflow art is not imported as it uses some strange format.
  
• SharePod doesnt crash when ejecting a Touch/Phone device.
  

3.8.4 in beta :)

So after a lot of work and a few late nights, version 3.8.4 is available for download. It supports the iPhone and iPod Touch models.

A couple of things to note on the new models:

• Currently, you must have iTunes (or maybe just 'Apple Mobile Device Support') installed. Hopefully this will change very soon.
• Currently, there is no artwork support - I haven't had enough time to test this to unleash it on everyone yet.
