When i add files with SharePod I can see them on the pc, but when I cant se them in the iPhone, they are probably there. My free space on the iPhone is less, but they dont show up in the artist, tracks or anything...?
fire up itunes right click 1 song that you have transferred using sharepod preview 1 and select properties. . that will sync the song that wont appear in ipod it wont delete.
flamemaster's idea didn't work with mine, my second gen iPod Touch 3.0 still won't show the songs I added at all. It's on my iPod, but it won't appear.
Ok, there seems to be an issue with some devices where the tracks dont show up immediately on the iPod. Simply opening iTunes and letting it see your iPod I would think should make tracks appear on your iPod.
That download link is now to preview 2. If you are seeing an error message, please use that version and tell me the error message along with the SharePod.log file.
Hey, I'm on Vista 64 and I'm getting a "Hash72.exe has stopped working" error message when sharepod is done trying to update my iPhone 3GS. After I close the Windows error message SharePod says "Hash-72 calculation failed. Error code: -1073741676 Changes have not been saved to your iPod. SharePod 3.9.4 Preview 3, iPod Type IPhone_ITouch3
Tried Preview 3. Transferred files to iPhone. It didn't error at first, however on closing it gave me this error:
System.ArgumentException: An item with the same key has already been added. at System.ThrowHelper.ThrowArgumentException(ExceptionResource resource) at System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary`2.Insert(TKey key, TValue value, Boolean add) at bj.b() at bj.a(List`1 A_0) at a1.a(Object A_0, EventArgs A_1) at b.b(BaseDatabaseElement A_0) at n.a() at SharePodLib.IPod.SaveChanges() at be.b.a()

Is there any chance using modern software such as ThinApp or completely violating Apple's property we could have a version of SharePod that 100% does NOT require iTunes to be installed at all?
I hate iTunes so much I actually refuse to install on my system. So instead I went through all the trouble setting up a VM for iTunes just so the basics of SharePod can be used...the dependency of an iTunes installation is MORE than drivers...it's the only real weakness in SharePod and would rock the cazzbar if only there were a way to eliminate this dependency altogether. I <3 SharePod...like for real for real.
Just to the Windows 7 problem. I'm running the 64Bit version, got one time the problem with the "Hash72.exe". I basically erase the whole iPhone and initialize it again with iTunes and then it was fine no more "Hash72.exe" problem. Then I remember that I have iTunes install but I never run it after I rebuild my computer; meaning my iPhone was not initialize by iTunes or some. Not sure if there is any relation to it but since then I have no trouble.

I have the same issue as Johan. Is this happening for touch users as well?

I was having the same issue as Johan. I tried what flamemaster said and it worked. Odd.

on, thanks. Thats the last outstanding error message for OS3 that I know about. Will be fixed in Preview 4.
Jared, not sure whats causing it. You could try running it in XP mode or manually run as admin?
I am also having the same problem as Jared, running windows 7 x64 here - maybe its a 64bit OS problem?
