You may be interested to know that SharePod 3.9.5 no longer runs in Windows 2000 (yes, sadly, some of us are still forced to use it).
The error message is:
System.TypeInitializationException: The type initializer for 'SharePodLib.SharePodLib' threw an exception. ---> System.TypeInitializationException: The type initializer for 'IPhoneConnector.AppleMobileDeviceAPI' threw an exception. ---> System.EntryPointNotFoundException: Unable to find an entry point named 'IsWow64Process' in DLL 'kernel32.dll'. at IPhoneConnector.AppleMobileDeviceAPI.IsWow64Process(IntPtr hProcess, Boolean& lpSystemInfo) at IPhoneConnector.AppleMobileDeviceAPI.Is64Bit() at IPhoneConnector.AppleMobileDeviceAPI.GetMobileDeviceDllPathInfo()

When exactly will support for videos going to be added to SharePod? Claims are made that it's possible to download and upload videos, yet this feature doesn't exist. Any ideas when this will be supported?
Hey Jeff! Thanks again, but just a FYI, this corrupts the itunes database on the iphone. I fixed it by running a backup, but please take alook into this bug ok? Thanks!
Hi, Jeff. You have done a great job. And will you update a version to support iPad recently? I tried to it on my iPad. It recognized the iPad device and seemed to transfer the files successfully, but after that, my iTunes could not read the content of my iPad and asked me to restore the device.
I am not sure if my issue is already known or not.
I am trying to drag-and-drop songs/ folders/ playlists on my computer, and no matter what compatibility I try it on, with or without admin rights, it will not allow drag-and-drop.
I am using Win7 Ult X64 on the laptop, and having the same issues on Win7 Home Premium x64.
I have not tried in on an x86 version of 7, but the function works just fine on the XP machine.
Experiencing the same thing with not being able to drag music on Win 7...
Also having the Sqlite DB issue as well - I deleted all music from my iPhone using sharepod and when I go into the music app on the iPhone it shows all my songs, but the app crashes.
Obviously the music DB has been corrupted by sharepod. Is there a fix?
Today, as if by magic, i can all of a sudden drag and drop music to and from the Sharepod window with no issues whatsoever. At first, I thought "Oh Im not using Aero, that must be why!" So I enabled Aero, restarted Sharepod, and.... It still works. I dont have time to test my other theory, due to homewoork and my talent of procrastination, but here it is: UAC? That is the only other function that has changed since i last tried dragging and dropping. UAC is now off. Anyone wanna give it a shot and verify? If not ill try it later.
Jeff thank you for Sharepod. Now with my os Win7 Ultimate 64 bits can't drag&drop and can't play any music archive. I've tried with the latest Sharepod version and previous too without success. Do you have a fix already? Thanks

Is it possible to format a drag and drop flash storage mp3 player based on an ID3 database with all of the iPod folders and use SharePod with it? I really love SharePod but I recently lost my iPod and I am planning to buy an alternative mp3 player. Or perhaps a version of SharePod which will work with all mp3 players? :D
@Jeff Sorry this is a bit late, the songs appear on my ipod touch but when i choose one of the songs and nothing happens for about 2 seconds and then it moves to the next song which also dosnt work it just keeps on going through all the songs and just exits back to music library menu.
I cannot drag and drop files in my Sharepod :( I use the last version. It's weird... sometimes drag and drop works, sometimes does not. I use win 7 ultimate x64
Hey Jeff, I recently downloaded iTunes 9.1 and I had the older version of SharePod, today I downloaded the newer version 3.9.4.x. Having problem with transferring music to my iphone which is running ios4. The transfer actually finished with no errors and can be seen on sharepod's interface. However, they just don't show up on iphone (ipod) for some reasons. It would be great if you can look into that as I really love this software :)
I have the same problem as above poster: i add files to my iphone ios4, and everything seems to work fine, plus they appear in the ipod library in sharepod, but i cak't see them in the phone. Have tried restarting the phone and upgrading itunes/.net framework...
same prob with Eddie and Hani Jazzar.. works fine in Sharepod but it doesnt appear in my iPhone.. ejected and rebooted but still did not appear in iTunes. However, Sharepod is able to detect it after replugging it in.
