Everything seems to work fine but the songs aren't on my iphone4. It finds the phone and it copies the tracks from the PC to my phone. I don't get any error messages. It shows them in SharePOD as being on my phone but I can't find them.

@Tamim: Unfortunately, I tried that and it still doesn't work. SharePod continues to crash immediately after opening. Anyone have any other ideas as to why the program consistently fails to open? (If it helps, I'm on Windows 7 Home Premium.)

I've been trying to use SharePod, but each time I attempt to open the program it gives me the same error message: "SharePod has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." This seems to happen consistently as soon as I open the program, while it's searching for my iPod and regardless of whether or not said iPod is connected. I'm on Windows 7, on an HP laptop I bought just a couple of months ago -- what's going wrong?

If Sharepod crashes without an error message in Windows 7 64 bit, it's because you do not have Java(JRE) installed. Install JRE and it'll all be good. http://www.java.com/en/download/inc/windows_new_xpi.jsp

hello people i need HELP! i accidentaly deleted a few recorded files from my ipod while using sharepod. i thought i'd be able to recycle it from the bin but it wasnt there. and it was nowhere to be found. its really necessary that i recover those files as ive been recording covers for a long time and i need them quite badly. would some one give me a hand at this??

When uploading, or removing music to/ from iPod with Sharepod, I receive the following errors:

"System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

at SharePodLib.IPod.SaveChanges()

I recently upgraded my touch 64 to iOs 4 and now I get an error when I copy songs to the ipod, something about an object not being where an object is expected. I imagine I'll just have to wait until the next version of sharepod comes out in order to add new songs. Any other solutions?

you really need to update SharePod. It doesn't work with iOS 4 at all, and the iPhone 4. It says it has added music but nothing appears and then an error comes up so it's not compatible with iOS 4. And you need to update it to be compatible with iTunes 9.2, great software i always use it, but that stuff needs fixing.

Also i get you want donations for your hard work, but paying to be apart of a community and forum is a joke. So many other forums out there which ask for donations and keep their doors open, actually ALL are like that, i'd donate to you if you didn't have that (and $10 a year), don't mind paying it but i'd rather pay one sum and let it be.

My daughter lost all her music on her vista computer when the hard drive crashed; looking for a software solution to get her music from her ipod to her computer. will sharepod do this relatively easily? second question - can sharepod be used with win 7 (64-bit)? thanks for your efforts and looking forward to hearing from you.
