I have a solution if you're running iOS 4. Download sharepod 3.9.5, add some music. Close sharepod and now open iTunes. Just play a song from your iphone and the music will be synced.

(it works for my jailbroken iPhone 3GS 4.0.1)

Jeff...DUDE! Thank you so much for coming up with SharePod...from now on, this is *definitely* on my list of must-have software. I recently misplaced a CD-ROM on which I kept a backup of the MP3s on my creaky old 4th generation iPod, and I didn't relish the idea of paying for the tracks a second time. I wasn't sure that SharePod would even work on my faithful old player, but...voila! I managed to download all the tracks, and even put new tracks on without having to mess around with iTunes. Consider me a fan!

Jeff! Thanks for the awesome program but I got something weird to throw at you. I know you said that for now there is no OS4 support and that is the reason for the unable to upload songs and stuff. It's weird but I plugged in my Ipodtouch (OS4) the other day with sharepod ver 3.9.5 and I was actually able to move over songs. After that I then opened Itunes (Even though I hate it) to fix all the music information. After I did that I closed Itunes and downloaded the new update of sharepod (3.9.6) and then it stopped working... So it's weird that I was actually able to add files before I opened itunes with 3.9.5... Just wanted to let you know maybe you might discover something with that info! Keep up the great work!

Hey, thanks for this great software. I'm experiencing a problem with version 3.9.6, where all previous versions (for the last year or so) have worked flawlessly for me.

I recently transferred some mp3s to my iPod touch 2G (iOS 3.1.2). Now when I go to listen to them on my device, the "Music" app crashes often and repeatedly. Also, the listing of songs has many blank spaces in it.

Do you have an idea what the problem might be? Should I run iTunes to repair the database or something?
